Can I add a 50 amp breaker to my panel?
I have a house built in1922 and am trying to add a 50 amp breaker for my electric stove. Id like to know if I can do it I currently have three panels at my house and concerned that they might have been installed improperly. Coming off the meter I have a 90 amp panel with three breakers a double 30 amp, a single 30 amp and a single 50 amp the 50 amp breaker feeds wire to my second p box that has seven old 30 amp screw fuses that are my houses lights and receptacles. The last panel is a 125 amp which is fed by 8 or 6 gauge wire from the lugs of my 90 amp panel to the lugs of my 125 amp panel which has a double 30 amp breaker for my dryer, a single 20 amp breaker for my laundry rm light only, a single 20 amp, a single 15 amp for one exterior electrical outlet and two more single 20 amps both of which are used for my window air conditioner. I can email you a drawing I have showing exactly what i have if you state your e-mail address. Thanks for helping.
