Seattle Sonics Future?

Even though the franchise formerly known as the Seattle Supersonics is moving to Oklahoma City, I heard the city of Seattle still has the rights to the team name (Supersonics, or Sonics...same thing) and the colors. So does this mean that a new franchise will be created in Seattle, still called the Sonics?
