My boyfriend doesn't know me!?

I have been friends with my boyfriend for 6 years, and we've been together romantically for over a year. But he still does not "know" me. I was the first person he was intimate with, but its been a year! I have explained what I like and don't like many times but when it comes down to those intimate times he still acts like he doesn't have a clue what I want. I have offered to get an instructional type video with him but he doesn't want to "waste his money". I'm a very open minded person and so is he, so its not a matter of trying new things or talking it out or whatever. I've tried all that. I really do love him, we have so much history together. But I just can't take not being able to have a good intimate relationship with him because he can't/won't remember anything. I'm not talking about remembering tricky maneuvers or anything...simple things like my neck is ticklish so stay away from there. And ALWAYS going there! It isn't a turn-on to have to keep saying stop that and no.
