Need help defeating the Ravens on Madden NFL 08 for Ps2?

I'm playing Madden Nfl 08 for ps2. I can not beat the Ravens in my franchise game. Every time I play the Ravens (I'm playing as the Rams), they throw one p and the receiver gets a touchdown. I've tried a lot of different plays but I can't stop the p. Somebody help please.
